What is the Mobile Learning Adventure (MLA)?
The Mobile Learning Adventure (MLA) is a mobile tour that travels from city to city within PNC’s service area reaching out to families firsthand, creating goodwill and educating the public on the importance of early childhood education. The activities that are part of the MLA provide an opportunity for parents and caregivers to learn about the importance of early childhood education, while they engage in fun activities with their children. Two touch-screen kiosks provide fun, interactive and educational activity for children and their parents. The “What I Want To Be When I Grow Up” photo station allows children to dress up in the profession of their choice–astronaut, ballerina, fireman, baseball player, to name a few–have their picture taken, and receive a keepsake photo and frame to take home. Various giveaways for children and parents are also part of the adventure.
