What is the mission statement of the WAAA?
The Wisconsin Academy of Anesthesiologist Assistants (WAAA) is an organization composed of Masters Degree prepared Anesthesiologist Assistants (AA-C). We are committed to the Anesthesia Care Team (ACT) approach to ensure the highest quality and safest anesthesia care for every patient. The WAAA is dedicated to the education and oversight of AA-Cs practicing in Wisconsin. We are further committed to educating medical professionals and the public about our training, qualifications and the importance of a team approach to anesthesia care. We further strive to provide a forum for AA advocacy within Wisconsin.
