What is the mission of Teen Court?
Teen Court is a collaborative effort that involves Blue Earth County Community Corrections and the larger community. Juvenile offenders are held accountable for their actions by a jury of their peers, while victims’ rights are respected. Teen Court is also an opportunity for teenage and adult volunteers to have an active, positive role in the judicial system. Our goal is to reduce the number of juvenile offenders who appear in District Court, while protecting the public.
