The purpose of MEA is to reimburse various costs associated with an authorized PCS residence relocation which are not otherwise easily categorized. Some examples of expenses covered by MEA are: disconnecting/reconnecting appliances, automobile registration and transfer of driver’s license, household pet transportation, and carpet cleaning.
