What is the minimum specification for a handset to work on the Zain Access service?

0

The minimum GPRS specification is GPRS Class 8 or above, for EDGE enabled handsets the minimum specification is EDGE Class 8 or above. Zain Access does not officially support handsets that are GPRS Class 4 or Class 6 and while these may work they may be unreliable and will be at least 25% slower than Class 8 or above GPRS devices. Users of Class 4 or Class 6 GPRS devices are advised to upgrade to a GPRS Class 8 or above device or better still to a GPRS and EDGE enabled handset to take advantage of speeds on EDGE that are three times higher than GPRS, where EDGE coverage exists.
