What is the minimum opening balance required to establish an E-ZPass Personal Account?
The required minimum opening balance is $20 per each E-ZPass tag ordered. For example, if you ordered 3 tags, your minimum opening balance would be $60.00. More frequent Turnpike users may wish to establish a higher opening balance to avoid constantly low funds. If you wish to participate in the Commuter Plan only, no prepaid balance is required.
