What is the minimum NIE sponsorship level?
There is no minimum sponsorship level for NIE contributions. We gladly accept contributions of any amount, and use this funding to underwrite the distribution of newspapers to teachers who need financial assistance. We do recommend a contribution of at least $100.00. This amount purchases a class set of newspapers a week for a full school year, and ensures that teachers receiving them receive free resource guides, training and all the benefits of NIE membership. Sponsors who contribute at least $2,000 are recognized twice a year through an individual advertisement in the Sunday Post-Standard, which reaches more than 400,000 parents, educators and community leaders every week. We thank all NIE sponsors with a three-quarter-page advertisement that appears periodically in the Post-Standard. We list the names of sponsors in all major NIE print materials, and acknowledge their contributions at all NIE events.
