A student instructional day consists of a minimum of five (5) hours of instructional time in Grades 1 through 6 and six (6) hours of instructional time in Grades 7 through 12. The minimum instructional time for Kindergarten traditionally has been one-half of the instructional time for Grades 1 through 6.
