What is the minimum length for detection as an ORF?
This program detects open reading frames (ORFs) if the translated sequence is over 100 amino acids long. If your ORF is shorter than this, you can go to the “translate” tab and look for it in one of the reading frames. These reading frames are a direct translation of your sequence. Common features, such as FLAG and HIS tags, will be highlighted in red.
