What is the minimum internet connection speeds recommended for Veeple?
In order for an audience to have the best viewing experience, we recommend that they have a broadband connection of at least 1,000kbps, and preferably a minimum of 4,000kbps (2mbps). Most broadband companies today provide these speeds and more. If the viewer’s connection speed is slower than 1000kbps the videos may take a long time to buffer before the play and provide a frustrating viewing experience. There is an option in the Deploy Video section of Veeple to “dial-down” the quality of your videos so that even a viewer with a slow connection like 1000kbps will have a decent experience. The video quality will suffer a bit but the viewer will have few “buffering” issues. For your experience as a Veeple customer we must consider upload speeds as you will be uploading many video to our servers. The faster your upload broadband connection speed the quicker your videos will upload. As with the download speeds we recommend a minimum of 1000kbps upload and preferable 1,000kbps – 2,000kbps. M
