The WT-Ovation One-Direct System can be used with cell lysate from one or more cells, or with purified total RNA in the range from 10 pg to 500 pg. Input amounts outside this range may produce unsatisfactory and variable results. Due to the uncertainty in the total RNA content of specific cell types, experimentation may be necessary to determine appropriate lower and upper limits of input for lysed cells.
