The minimum cumulative grade point average is 2.8 on a 4.0 scale. However, admission is competitive and based on the candidate’s academic achievement score and, if granted, the average interview score. The academic achievement score consists of the overall grade point average, science/math prerequisite grade point average, number of prerequisites completed at time of application and though not required, receipt of Bachelors, Masters or other Doctoral level degrees. Candidates with the highest academic achievement scores receive an invitation for an interview. Admission offers are extended to candidates with the highest combined academic achievement and interview scores.
