What is the minimum fundraising requirement for the Marine Corps Marathon?
The fundraising requirement depends on your registration status. The race is now sold out. If you buy an entry for the MARATHON with OAR now, you will have a $500 minimum fundraising requirement. If you bought an entry to the race on your own or signed up with OAR before the race sold out, you can “Set and Meet” your own goal. Runners generally average between $1,000 and $1,500. Participants who raise over $1,000 receive a free entry to the 2010 Chicago or Marine Corps Marathon, and those who raise over $2,500 receive a special incentive prize.
