New Zealand: There is no minimum English requirement for English Language courses but for all other academic and trade courses, the requirement starts at IELTS 5.0 Australia: Minimum language requirement starts at IELTS 5.0 for all courses. For Dip/ Adv Dip courses IELTS 5.5; for undergraduate courses IELTS 6.0 with minimum 5.5 band in each element; for postgraduate courses minimum 6.5, no band less than IELTS 6.0.
