Solution The minimum differential data rate that Stratix can support is 300 Mbps when the SERDES is used. To have a lower differential data rate, you have to bypass the SERDES. The Stratix datasheet version 3.0 incorrectly specified the minimum differential data rate when using SERDES as 100Mbps. This is scheduled to be fixed in a future version of the Stratix datasheet.
