For standard entry into the Air Force Males less than 60″ tall or greater than 80″ tall can be disqualified for entry into military service. Females less than 58″ tall or greater than 80″ tall can be disqualified for entry into military service. There is no sitting height for general entry in to military service unless on flying status. STANDING: (Pilot) any gender less than 64″ or more than 77″ is disqualified from becoming a pilot. (Combat Systems Officer) any gender less than 64″ or more than 77″ is disqualified from becoming a CSO. SITTING: (Pilot) any gender less than 34″ or more than 40″ is disqualified from becoming a pilot. (Combat Systems Officer) any gender less than 33″ or greater than 40″ is disqualified from becoming a CSO.
