What is the minimum age to operate a Personal Watercraft (PWC) in West Virginia?
A. Children must be at least 15 years of age and they must have successfully completed a boating safety course approved by the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources in order to operate a PWC on their own. Children aged 12-14 years old may operate a PWC if an adult is onboard with them and they have passed a boating safety course approved by the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources.
