What is the minimum age to apply for the Queensland Police Service?
While there is no set minimum age at which you can apply to join the Queensland Police Service, there are a number of pre-requisites that you must have obtained prior to submitting an application (eg: education and driver licence requirements etc. Please read the links which outline all pre-requisites). Due to these pre-requisites, it is highly likely that an applicant will be at least 19 years of age before meeting the requirements for entry into training. It should be noted that the average age of recruits is approximately 26 – 28 years. Further, there is an expectation that you possess and demonstrate certain social maturity as part of the assessment/selection process.
