What is the minimum age requirement to take CPR and First Aid Training?
There is no minimum age guideline. We recommend not younger than 8 years old for a Basic CPR/First Aid Class. Even young children can learn what to do in the event of a choking emergency and can learn to perform CPR on a child or infant. Keep in mind that in order for a child to be able to perform adequate compressions on an adult the child must weigh at least 90 pounds.
