What is the minimum age for clients to use UV tanning equipment?
Louisiana does not set a minimum age. Minors 13 years old or younger must have a parent or legal guardian sign a consent form and be present at the time of equipment use. Minors 14 to 17 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian sign a consent form. However, as a private business operator, you are free to make policy decisions excluding minors or other at-risk clients from using the equipment.
