What is the minimum age for an unaccompanied child volunteer at the shelter?
An unaccompanied minor volunteer must be a minimum of 16 years old. Capable volunteers under 16 are considered on a case-by-case basis, but must be supervised by a parent or guardian, at all times. This is to ensure the safety of the volunteers, animals, staff, and members of the public that may be in our facility.
