What is the minimum account balance for PennySIM?
From the 1st of September, 2010, the minimum account balance for all PennySIM customers will be $20. Minimum recharge and auto top-up amounts will also be changed to $20, and will occur when any account’s balance is reduced to $20 or less. On the 1st of September, 2010, those PennySIM customers who do not have $20 in their account will have their verified credit card charged $20, and $20 added into their account. For those who have a balance of $20 or more, nothing will happen. The reason behind this is that some PennySIM accounts have been overused and then cancelled, without PennyTel being given the chance to charge them. This implementation will enable us to provide a better value service for all of our customers without increasing our service charges. Please note that this amount is a deposit only and will be refunded if you no longer wish to use our service.
