What is the Millennium Carillon?
The Carillon celebrates the third millennium. The bell tower rises 148 feet and houses 72 bronze bells with the largest weighing over five tons. It is sheathed in natural limestone reflective of the early Naperville stone masons who quarried along the banks of the West Branch of the DuPage River. The four cornerstones of the tower represent Naperville’s core values: Community, Family, Education and Commerce.
