The Centrex IP edge device portfolio includes the IP Phone 2004 now with the IP Softphone 2050. (Other IP sets may be available for other markets, such as the IP Phone 2002 set available for the SL100 market). The existing TDM Centrex terminals (M5000, M8000, and M9000 sets) will continue to function with their existing Centrex services, and in the same customer group with Centrex IP subscribers. With the rollout of Voice over IP solutions enabled by the Carrier Voice over IP portfolio and the Media Gateway 9000, TDM terminals of many varieties, including Centrex TDM terminals, will have access to the IP network.
