What is the Midwest Prayer Center?
Wind and Fire Ministries (WFM) began in 2002, operating out of a regional public prayer room in Hiawatha, IA. After leaving that facility in 2002, we started progressing toward a new public prayer facility that would afford us the ability to move toward our 24/7 mandate of prayer and worship. The Midwest Prayer Center facility was completed in the Spring of 2007- Praise the Lord! All FIELD classes will be held in the new building in classrooms that are located in the back. Is it a church? Not at all, in fact, if you don’t have a home church, YOU NEED TO GO FIND ONE! But you won’t find one here now, nor will you find one here in the future. This is a place designed for prayer and worship to help facilitate prayer efforts within the churches of this region. We don’t accept tithe from people who attend WFM or The FIELD activities. Does this take away from what my church is already doing? Think of The FIELD and WFM as a restaurant. People from many churches can come to the same restaurant
