What is the midline lethal granuloma?
This term describes a destructive, ulcerative process, usually located in the midline of the hard palate, that may lead to palatal perforation. Although the clinical picture is dramatic and ominous, the histologic picture may be somewhat nonspecific, showing only inflammation and occasionally vasculitis.
