What is the method and frequency of hot fixes and services packs for Process Manufacturing modules?
Fullscope will release a Process Industries service pack 30 days after Microsoft releases a service pack. In regards to hotfixes for AX 4.0, we follow the same practice as Microsoft. We roll our hotfixes into BUP layers that correspond to the Microsoft DIS layers. We are approximately seven days behind Microsoft’s release of a DIS layer. We do not release individual xpo files. The customer must keep current on the standard AX DIS layer and corresponding BUP layer. All the BUP layer hotfixes and service packs for Process can be found on the Process Industries Partnersite The procedures for releasing hotfixes for 2009 are still being determined by Microsoft. The service pack strategy will remain the same as 4.0.
