I also have a plate in my arm. And yes it is made out of Titanium. Nothing happens at airports. I had my operation a year ago and the doctors are planning to take it out within 5 months. Your’s may be permanent as you might have stopped growing.I am only 13 so my body is still developing and they do not want to risk the plate wedging into my bones.
