What is the message of need of ACM code?
If on having tried to record or to import a category, appears a message that informs that you need a ACM code, means that your soundcard cannot compress in this quality and that in Windows there is not have been installed a codec of compression that allows to codify the audio in the quality that you have selected when you form the category. Generally the operative system includes the codecs of recording for some qualities of audio as “IMAADPCM” but it doesn’t includes codecs neither to record in Mpeg Layer III not for Mpeg Layer II. Therefore, if you want to record from a window of “titles or production ” or wants to import an audio with the ” Importer mp3 ” converting it to the quality of compression selected in the category, you will have to have installed in your operative system a codec of recording whichadapts to this quality.
