What is the Mentor Recruitment and Selection Process?

0

There are no strict rules on what makes a good mentor but if you have the following qualities we would be interested in you: • Friendly • Helpful • Caring • Good Listener • Empathic • Committed The main recruitment drive for all student programmes is between January through to March, but we still accept students after this period, but they may miss the opportunity of being entered for the mentoring accreditation. Students who want to become a Mentor need to apply using the online registration form for the programme that they are interested in. Students can use the left hand menu to navigate to the correct programme form. If you have any problems using the online form you can ring us on 01772 895012 or visit us in the ‘i’, Foster Building. You will not need to attend a formal interview but we will ask you to attend a 10 minute chat where we can ask you a few questions and get to know you a bit better before accepting you on to the programme.
