What is the Medication Adherence Pilot Program?

0

The Medication Adherence Pilot Program (MAPP) began on December 1, 2009 and applies to retired State Health Plan members. The pilot program will run through September 30, 2011. The MAPP program offers retired members a 90-day supply of diabetes and heart medications from the Medco Pharmacy for 2 ½ times the copay. The program has expanded and members may receive the same benefit from North Carolina Walgreens retail pharmacies, Hampton, Hospital Drive and Boone Drug pharmacies.
