• MECP is a pathway to a commission in the Navy Nurse Corps. Qualified enlisted men and women serving on active duty in the United States Navy and Marine Corps may apply for an opportunity to participate MECP In-Service Procurement Program. MECP gives those selected to the program a chance to earn an entry level bachelor’s degree in nursing and be appointed as an Ensign, USN, Nurse Corps. Passing the NCLEX is required to practice as a registered nurse and remain in the navy.
