What is the mechanism for reporting student performance?
Research Sponsors are asked to complete a midterm evaluation. All students participating in UROP receive a grade for their effort. UROP will send you a grade sheet at the end of Fall and Winter terms for each student you sponsor and request that it be returned to the UROP Office. UROP will submit the official grade paperwork to the Registrar’s Office. What is the role of the UROP Peer Advisor? Each UROP student is assigned a Peer Advisor who helps them navigate through the program and serves as a program liaison to you. These Peer Advisors are current juniors and seniors who are UROP alumni. Peer Advisors meet one on one with each of their students every month. They also facilitate bi-weekly research seminars. Peer Advisors are asked to introduce themselves to you and you may contact them if you have questions or concerns about your student.
