What is the meaning of the song “You e gonna go far, Kid” by The Offspring?
Theres a lot of views about this song talking about it relating to hammerhead and power and abuse but i see it as their view of popular “punk” bands dominating the radios and such. -It mimics the song lying is the most fun a girl can have without taking her close off by P!ATD -“Dance, ******, Dance” Perhaps Fall Out Boys, Dance Dance -The name of the song to me simply means that they paved their own road to success and didn’t give into popular needs of the media. They stayed true to their sound while other bands now a days become sell outs for one single and then the next single sound completely different because the old single wasn’t good enough according to the media.
