What is the meaning of skill-based games?
Skill-based games are games based on the player’s skill, where the winner is decided on the skill displayed. This is in sharp contrast to lotteries or games typically found in casinos, where every player ultimately faces the same random odds. Games such as Chess, Rummy, Solitaire, Video Contests, Singing Contests, are all games of skill as the outcome of the event is decided by the adroitness and talent of the contestant. A game of skill is one in where success principally depends upon the knowledge, training, adroitness, attention and experience of the player.
