cc denotes the displacement of an engine……….. cubic capacity i.e. max volume that engine cylinder can hold[air n fuel mixture]….an engine may have single or multiple sylinders.technically , it is the volume between T.D.C AND B.D.C.

The term cc is for cubic capacity.Normally automobiles engine capacity is measured in cc unit standard.This term has directly related to engine size, but has no relation to its engine power.Automobiless engine power is calculated and described in the term BHP.
