What is the meaning of previously frozen?
This term often is used with refrozen fish and means that it has been frozen twice before being placed on the shelves of a supermarket. For example, fish scheduled to be portioned often is frozen after being caught and processed. Later it is thawed so it can be cut into portions. Then it is refrozen. This procedure can result in diminished quality and nutritional value.
