What is the meaning of eerie premonition?
An eerie premonition is an unsettling feeling that something is going to happen in the near future, usually something negative, without having any direct evidence to support such a feeling. Premonitions are generally unsettling because they are considered paranormal. Someone normally says “premonition,” omitting “eerie.” The movie “Premonition” explored the concept of knowing something without being able to explain why with the lead character (played by Sandra Bullock) fearing her husband’s death because she experienced time in a nonlinear fashion (she would go to sleep and wake up a few days before that night she fell asleep).
