New drug development is a costly, risky, long but rewarding process. Biotech companies worldwide need to find partners to share the risk and reward. Partnership with established larger companies brings scientific recognition of the value of our products in pipeline. Upfront payment and/or milestone from our partner also reduces financial burden on GNI. Certainly, GNI will need to share profit from our co-developed product or license the rights of our product to our partners in certain geographic regions.
