What is the meaning of a black cat crossing ones path?
I have 3 black cats, and they cross my path every day. Nothing happens, and I have had stray black cats cross my path as well. I am a very open minded person, and I am not discrediting you, or bashing you, however I really must say that this is an old wives tale, and has been the very reason why so many unadopted and stray cats are black. The idea was brought about by the belief that black cats were witches counterparts, thus giving them a bad rap. People think they are bad luck, and yet they are the sweetest cats to have.
