What is the meaning and reason for having and establishing a Kailash?

In short, the kailash or pot is the container of all the bhava, all the devotion, all the consciousness, we wish to give to the deity. We fill the pot with all the goodness from the samsara, even give up our negativities, and then close it with a coconut, enliven it with prana pratishtha, and worship it as the embodiment of divinity. This practice will train us to see all that we choose as the embodiment of God.
