What is the MC General Conference like?
General Conference is a big meeting. Every church in the United States is eligible to send both lay and clergy delegates (all clergy from that church are eligible, and the number of laypersons is based on the church’s membership). General Conference meets every two years and has basically the same duties as our US National Conference. For instance, this is where any changes to the Constitution are made and where position papers are approved.
