The MBOA is dedicated to gaining confirmation through the IEEE process for the MBOA proposal and is confident that we will achieve that confirmation in the coming 802.15.3a sessions. That confidence combined with the maturity of the MBOA specification has convinced us the best course of action to enable the fastest time to market is to release our specification and develop products based on that specification. The MBOA is targeting a 0.9 version of the specification to be complete by February 2004 and version 1.0 will be released in May 2004.
