What is the maximum travel period that would be covered under the policy?
The maximum travel period is twelve months between leaving the UK and returning to the UK. For longer periods away employees should contact the Insurance Section to discuss their insurance needs. Please do not misuse this insurance benefit by registering a twelve month travel period unless you are actually away on business for the whole of that period. The premium charged to the University is based on the dates you declare.
