What is the maximum size of branches that can go into my green organics bin?

The maximum size is 15cm diameter and 60cm long. This may seem quite large, but commercial composting facilities have industrial strength equipment which can easily shred these branches into mulch. Please don’t overload your bin: ensure the lid can be closed and not more than 45kg.
