To ensure maximum performance and availabilty of the UNC Webmail service for all of its users, a limitation on the maximum size of attachments that can be sent via UNC Webmail is enforced. The maximum size of all files attached to a message sent from UNC Webmail cannot exceed 5 megabytes. If you try to send a message in UNC Webmail with attachment file sizes totaling more than 5 megabytes, you will be returned to the message composition window and an error will be displayed at the top of the page stating you have exceeded the 5 megabyte limit.
