UMBC accepts a maximum of 90 transfer credits from other institutions, including four-year colleges and universities, community colleges, Advanced Placement CLEP and IB programs. We will accept a maximum of 60 credits from a community or junior college. A maximum of 60 credits may be earned through CLEP, AB or IB Examinations.
