What is the maximum number of concurrent users that is allowed?
Laundry-Trak itself imposes no maximum number of users. However, the Btrieve 6.15 Microkernel in a peer/workgroup configuration (which comes as standard with Laundry-Trak) has been found to start to degrade with many more than 5 to 6 simultaneous, “heavy” concurrent users (and this is in fact the general rule with most workgroup engines running under modern Microsoft networks and isn’t something specific to Btrieve 6.15). The solution for a larger number of concurrent users is the Pervasive.SQL client-server engine that can essentially support an unlimited number of users. It is also the solution for multi-location access using Microsoft’s Terminal Server.
