In general, we have found that a maximum length of 8 is ideal for most applications. Beyond this the slabs are difficult to handle safely and install without damage. Sink voids and certain radius designs require seams to protect the structural integrity of the slab. Our project manager places seams where necessary in keeping with the overall harmony of the design.
