What is the maximum legal speed of a Power Assisted Bicycle?

0

As with an ordinary cycle, there is no maximum limit for unassisted riding. New European safety regulations, being introduced this year (2010), allow you to have power assistance up to 25kph [15mph]. All Green Zebra electric cycles will automatically cut the power assist when you reach 25kph (15mph). Without power assist your maximum speed is determined by your fitness and local speed limits.
